Children of Mary

Children of Mary is a Special Needs social group under the non-for profit Shining Light.

Over the past 15 years, our organization has provided weekly social programs to help foster independent living skills, community service outings, and improvement in communication skills. We also offer creative movement/dance classes to foster a healthy lifestyle and improve motor skills. Unfortunately, many of our participants live below the poverty level and cannot afford the expenses involved in participation.

This year, our annual Fundraising Performance was  “We Can Fly” with excerpts from Disney’s Peter Pan and Pirates of the Caribbean with vocals and dance ​ at Resurrection Parish, 30W350 Army Trail Road, Wayne.
